Description
- Online + 0.5 Day In-Person
- Our comprehensive online learning then 0.5 day in-person CPR/AED (Level C) course is a fun and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course led by one of our first class instructors. This CPR covers how to respond to emergencies, CPR, choking, circulatory emergencies and is recognized by Alberta OHS.
Duration
- Part 1: 1 - 2 hours online learning (self directed, at own pace)
- For part 1: online learning - you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Canadian Red Cross’s online learning portal within 1 business day of registration.
- Part 2: 5 hours in-class time: 9am - 1pm
- For part 2: classroom learning includes hands-on practical first aid skills. Participants must complete Part 1 before attending, and they must attend within 45 days of completing the online learning. Bring your certificate of completion to Part 2 as proof of eligibility. Complete Part 2 in order to receive your three-year certification.
- The date you select when register will be for Part 2 (classroom learning).
Completion
- Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps.
- 100% attendance and participation.
- 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation.
