Description

• Our CPR/AED (Level C) course is a fun and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course led by one of our first class instructors. This CPR covers how to respond to emergencies, CPR, choking, circulatory emergencies and is recognized by Alberta OHS.

Duration

• 1 Day In-Person: 9am - 2:30pm
• This 5.5 course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Prerequisites

• There are no prerequisites for this course.

Completion

• Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps.
• 100% attendance and participation.
• 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation.
• Adherence to the Fundamental Principles.

Certificate

• 3-year certification in Red Cross: CPR/AED (Level C).
• A permanent virtual certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours of successfully completing the course
• You will also be able to view your manual and certification online at any time through your MyRedCross account. Certification is valid for 3 years.
